About The Position
The position involves maintaining the company's equity data using Morgan Stanley Shareworks, which includes tasks such as loading and reconciling new awards, terminations, accelerations/amendments, individual tax rates, equity releases, and stock option exercises. The role requires collaboration with HR to reconcile new hire grants and terminations to payroll records and to maintain and reconcile the employee database. Additionally, the position involves monitoring cash receipts related to equity transactions, reconciling these receipts to Shareworks, and creating necessary journal entries. The employee will also administer the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) program, maintain compliance calendars, and support accounting for stock-based compensation. The role requires leading automation efforts for routine work streams and coordinating with various teams to ensure proper tax withholding and compliance with legal requirements.
