Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Up to one year of related experience, preferably in a warehouse setting
  • Basic reading, writing, communication, and math skills
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and practices preferred
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV record may be required
  • May be required to be certified in forklift operation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automated inventory systems
  • Customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the receiving and shipment of totes to the sites we support
  • Assist and work with warehouse staff, cross-training where possible to ensure department coverage
  • Coordinate with volunteer partners who assist in the kitting operation
  • Inspect, verify, and report discrepancies or damages of materials and supplies against receiving documents
  • Store and stack materials according to prescribed methods
  • Fulfill daily customer orders and prepare transportation documents
  • Deliver materials and supplies to end users and/or departments
  • Operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as electric pallet jacks and various forklift equipment
  • Assist with electronic inventory management system data entry and reporting functions
  • Perform other duties as required
