About The Position

The Stores Operations Team is a hands-on group involved in all aspects of inventory management and warehouse logistics for Con Edison. The Stock Handler is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory, and in certain locations, the handling of waste products to support various internal customers. This role involves operating a variety of material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment within both warehouse and yard environments to support the safe and efficient movement of materials and, in certain locations, waste products.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory management and warehouse logistics.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving inventory and organizing it within the warehouse.
• Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring accuracy.
• Handling waste products in certain locations.
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Supporting the safe and efficient movement of materials.
