About The Position

The Stock Crew Clerk is responsible for preparing food for customer consumption, packaging products, and assisting customers with their orders. This role involves various tasks such as stocking and displaying merchandise, maintaining cleanliness in the department, and ensuring that all safety rules and regulations are followed. The position is covered under the UFCW union agreement and offers an hourly pay range of $16.40 - $27.00.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma is preferred but not required
• Valid Health Card
• Ability to read recipes, invoices, labels, signs to adequately prepare, package label and inventory ingredients and merchandise
• Must be able to operate a computerized scale, communicate with customers and perform basic math calculations
• Must maintain a sense of integrity

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for display
• Package, label and price products
• Place point of sale signs, tags, stickers as needed
• Stock and display merchandise for sale to customers
• Assist customers with their orders
• Operate department equipment in safe efficient manner
• Maintain merchandise in cases, shelves for orderly display and rotation
• Clean department fixtures and equipment
• Maintain stock in storage area
• Order replacement merchandise and supplies as needed
• Maintain logs and records of damaged and lost merchandise
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Other related duties as required
