About The Position

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Stock Clerk to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and supplying electrical components to various departments within the production floor, ensuring a seamless manufacturing process. The Stock Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels, organizing stock areas, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the production operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

  • The candidate needs to have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be accurate, neat and computer literate.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be a U.S. Person to work in our facility.
  • Preference given to candidates with electrical component handling experience.
  • Experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a plus (LN preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and deliver electrical components as per production requirements, ensuring timely availability for assembly and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent production delays.
  • Organize and maintain the storage area for electrical components, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track component usage, reorder supplies, and update inventory records.
  • Collaborate with production team members to identify and resolve any discrepancies in component supplies.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies while handling electrical components and equipment.
  • Assist in receiving and unloading new stock shipments, verifying quantities, and ensuring quality of components received.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize stock handling procedures and reduce waste.
