About The Position
Receives, stores, and issues materials, supplies, and equipment: takes inventories: and complies stock records in hospital stock room. Unpacks shipments received: inspects items for damage or defects: verifies accuracy of shipment: and conveys to storage area. Fills requisitions from stock and delivers to requesting department. May post prices on inventory sheets and requisition additional supplies.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- At least one (1) year experience with counting/restocking in the healthcare environment, or the ability to learn quickly
- Highly motivated self-starter
