The Stock Clerk is responsible for ensuring that the grocery section of the store is fully stocked, organized, and ready for customers. This includes assisting in the receiving, storing, and stocking of products, while ensuring proper product rotation and quality. Stock Clerks create and build product displays, ensure the fronting of products is accurate, and handle product damage and credits according to company policy. The role requires strong knowledge of store products, locations, and excellent customer service to assist with product location requests. Stock Clerks also perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, as well as bagging/loading customers grocery and running cash registers as needed. General Purpose: The Stock Clerk ensures that the store’s inventory is well-maintained, product displays are set up, and that customers have access to fresh, high-quality products. This role also involves performing general store maintenance tasks to ensure the store remains clean and orderly for customers.
