Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years in a supply tech role required.
• Must have mathematical and organizational abilities.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to problem solve minor issues.
• Able to work in and around a busy setting.
• Good leadership skills.
• Ability to think critically and prioritize tasks based on circumstances.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Knowledge of Infor and Pyxis.

Responsibilities

• Creates orders for specialty supplies on nursing units and specialty areas.
• Monitors backorder reports for selected areas and reports issues to the appropriate Central Supply Coordinator and Purchasing.
• Creates the Central Supply stocking order in the absence of the Inventory Coordinator.
• Receives orders in Infor when appropriate.
• Orders, restocks, and cycle counts Synthes implants in the Sterile Processing department.
• Places orders and stocks all the ambulatory care centers using a company vehicle to travel to each location.
• Provides excellent customer service while assisting customers both in person and on the phone.
• Stocks specialty areas assigned, performs cycle counts, rotates inventory, and performs expired checks.
• Assists with relabeling supply carts.
