They are renowned for their Christmas Marketplace featuring traditional cakes, cookies, and candy from Europe and beyond, as well as special and unique holiday decor. Merchants search the globe for design inspiration, emerging trends, time-honored handicrafts, and foods and beverages. Their mission is to provide a spirited shopping environment where customers can discover great quality and great value in an ever-changing, unique marketplace. World Market currently operates over 240 stores across the country in addition to their ecommerce site (worldmarket.com) and plans to continue growing.

Requirements

  • A can-do attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative, open minded, adaptable, honest, and respectful culture.
  • Excellent communication & time management skills.
  • Ability to initiate a conversation.
  • Minimum Age 16 years.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Retail experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Process freight and unload trucks.
  • Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
  • Maintain an organized stockroom.
  • Contribute to a safe shopping environment.
  • Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases as needed.
  • Share your passion and knowledge for our products and help customers find the perfect “anything.”
