About The Position

The stock associate is responsible for overseeing operational and stock support to the business by overseeing an efficient stockroom and accurate inventory. In this role, he/she must be able prioritize all of their responsibilities and provide our customers with exceptional service by supporting the selling process as needed.

Requirements

  • At least2years of experienceinpreviousstockrolewith supervisoryduties; availabilityto analyzeinformation,identifybusiness priorities, and problem solve.
  • Ability towork well under pressure andmultitask.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)required.
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, andholidays.
  • Full understanding of store operations and computer skillsto include a retail point of sale software system and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift,carryand move objects weighing up to25pounds up/down stairswith or without a ladder.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow operating floor procedures and policies.
  • Be self-managing; focus on effective planning and time management as well asprioritization oftasks.
  • Executes shipping and receiving process, reporting any issues to Store Manager and taking the necessarysteps to resolve.
  • Efficiently preparing merchandise moves between stores (domestically).
  • Ensuresan accurateand organizedstore inventory at all times- overseeing cycle counts, scheduledinventoriesand reconciliation with supportand dedication from the store manager.
  • Report any shipment discrepanciesimmediatelyto Store Manager in addition to weekly communicationon a weekly basis about the stock available and/or damages,
  • Support the team in the selling merchandisingprocessesensuring the highest level of client experience.
  • Assist with the process of repairs and damages on a timely basis according to company guidelines.
  • Ensurethe selling floor is consistently replenished.
