About The Position

We’re looking for a Part-Time Stock Associate to join our team at Koopman Lumber! In this role, you’ll keep the store stocked, clean, and organized while assisting customers with questions and providing great service. This is a hands-on, active position that balances stocking tasks with customer interaction.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
• Good telephone etiquette.

• Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to stand up to 4 hours at a time; up to 8 hours.
• Ability to reach overhead to grasp materials.
• Ability to sit, climb or balance, lift, twist, and bend, stoop or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis.
• Strength: regularly lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Help customers with product questions, locations, pricing, and promotions.
• Stock, clean, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Process and put away incoming stock.
• Communicate inventory issues and customer requests through reporting tools.
• Assist with cycle counts, price updates, and other stock-related duties.
• Provide courteous, professional service at all times.
