About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving shipments and accurately maintaining inventory records. You will maintain the stockroom and off-site locations, assisting the sales team in replenishing the sales floor after shipments or during recovery periods. Your responsibilities will include exemplifying the highest level of customer service standards to both internal and external customers, scanning shipments as delivered, ticketing and stocking merchandise in the stockroom, and preparing items for immediate distribution to the sales floor. You will provide feedback to your supervisor regarding inventory levels and damages, organize the stockroom by department and categories, and ensure that aisles and exits are clear. Additionally, you will ensure that merchandise is safely stored, properly ticketed, packaged, logged, and easily located for replenishment. You will also pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries, transport items to and from remote stockroom locations, and maintain accurate inventory records. Keeping the stockroom clean and organized is essential, and you may assist on the sales floor during peak times as assigned. Completing tasks on the daily agenda and complying with all company policies and procedures is expected, as well as following appropriate stockroom procedures to minimize loss to the company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years customer service experience preferred.
  • Stockroom or related work experience preferred.
  • Basic product knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Effective time management skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to be mobile in the stockroom or on sales floor for extended periods.
  • Proven ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 100 lbs.
