About The Position

We are looking for dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Restorative State Tested Nursing Assistants to join our highly respected team of professionals. Restorative STNAs will act as compassionate caregivers and are responsible for providing restorative care for our residents so they may maintain their physical strength and the ability to complete daily living tasks. The Restorative STNAs play a vital role in our residents’ emotional well-being and quality of life.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) licensure in the State of Ohio required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and remain calm under pressure required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, turning and pushing

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aide training preferred
  • experience with Point Click Care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Restorative Nurse, assist residents in the completion of restorative care plans
  • Provide high quality daily nursing care in accordance with each resident’s care plan and in accordance with facility policies & procedures
  • Assist residents in completing all activities of daily living including ambulating, transferring, bathing, dressing, eating and toileting
  • Participate in resident care assessments
  • Assist in development of resident treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation of each resident’s activities of daily living and personal care needs
  • Participate in scheduled trainings, in-services and programs to maintain certification and enhance the quality of care provided to all residents
  • Work directly with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality care to all residents
  • Provide timely communication to team members to aid in the care and treatment of residents and the development of person-centered care plans
  • Possess a strong understanding of long-term care federal and state regulations
  • Other duties as required
