About The Position

The Care Partner position at Arrow Senior Living involves providing compassionate care to residents in a home-like environment. The role emphasizes empathy, human connection, and active engagement with residents during their most vulnerable moments. Care Partners are responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The position requires a positive attitude and the ability to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for both residents and team members.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Positive and energetic attitude towards residents.
  • Basic computer skills for document printing and information entry.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Criminal background clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Be present and share talents with residents and team members.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive environment by investing wholeheartedly in work and community.
  • Engage in personal development, growth, and training within the organization.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as helping individuals after a fall.
