About The Position
Centerville Post Acute is seeking a reliable and compassionate Facility Bus Driver to transport residents safely to and from medical appointments and other approved outings. This position requires a current and valid STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification, as the driver will also assist residents with transfers and mobility needs.
Requirements
- Current and valid STNA certification required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and transfers
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable and punctual
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in long-term care preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and scheduled outings
- Ensure timely arrival and return to the facility
- Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices properly
- Monitor residents during transport to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance concerns
- Comply with all traffic laws and facility safety policies
- Assist with resident care duties as assigned when not transporting
