About The Position

We are hiring STNA's! $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR FULL TIME. Join our NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM in Cincinnati, OH. This position provides individualized, quality resident care under the direction of nursing personnel by performing various duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • One or more years related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Successful completion of a nurse assistant training and competency evaluation program, including passing of the certification exam.

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, food consumption, elimination, and transferring and ambulating.
  • Creates a positive home-like environment and helps residents develop trust while offering emotional support.
  • Monitors and reports to Charge Nurse changes in resident condition or other relevant matters.
  • Provides for residents' health needs, including determining measurements accurately, ensuring proper documentation, and assisting nurses during treatments and emergencies.
  • Maintains employee and resident safety by following infection control practices and reporting safety problems immediately.
  • Assists with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of plans of care for assigned residents.
  • Carries out administrative functions, including prioritizing daily tasks and participating in staff meetings.
  • Performs quality assessment and assurance functions as directed.
  • Responds to common inquiries or complaints from residents and regulatory agencies.
