About The Position

As a Stitcher Operator you will be responsible for operating the stitcher machine to stitch flat sheets of paper together. Requirements

18 years of age or older
GED or high school diploma, 1-3 months experience or combination of education and experience
Mathematical skills required for counting, measuring, reading, and converting data.
Ability to read and utilize measurement devices accurately.

Responsibilities

Set-up, operating and quality of the Stitcher.
Examines work order to determine work instructions.
Set stitchers for specified length and thickness of stitch and threads stitching wire into the machine.
Starts machine and makes trial run.
Readjusts machine setup if necessary.
Assists in feeding and off bearing machine.
Oils, greases, and cleans machine parts and makes minor repairs to keep machine in working condition.
Inspects completed work.
Must observe all safety policies and procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out policy.
Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
Regular and reliable attendance
Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management
