About The Position

We are seeking a Food Runner to join our team. The Food Runner will be for servicing guests, assisting with functions of server, and delivering food to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously and efficiently. This role will also assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment, while providing lateral service when necessary. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. The role is a P.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a full-time position(s) available. This role is designated for our restaurant, Stir.

Requirements

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Servicing guests and assisting with functions of server.
• Delivering food to guest tables according to hotel specifications.
• Assisting in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.
• Providing lateral service when necessary.
• Transporting food items to the bar, dining room, and lounge in a timely manner.
• Inspecting chinaware for cleanliness.
• Delivering food items to tables in a timely manner.
• Presenting food to guests with correct items without asking.
• Transporting dirty dishes through the dummy waiter from the bar.
