About The Position

The STIIIZY Machine Operator is responsible for performing a variety of machinist duties in a safe and effective manner, focusing on the installation, calibration, and operation of cannabis production machines. This role emphasizes versatility, as the operator may cross-train in other positions within the department based on organizational needs. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards while maintaining a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work on-site Monday-Friday, with potential for weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department.
  • Ability to operate Forklift and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Beginning to working knowledge of machinery and production processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Test and inspect machines to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders for machine setup and production methods.
  • Check that produced items pass quality control tests.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain machine shop equipment.
  • Assist with daily inventory and organizational tasks.
  • Track daily production numbers and verify order accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and adapt to changing tasks based on order demands.
  • Prepare products for manufacturing and distribution.
  • Inspect products for defects and verify correct counts.
  • Conduct in-process checks and inventory adjustments.
  • Interpret production schedules and ensure proper materials are ready for use.
  • Maintain appropriate packaging inventory for products.
  • Assist other employees in achieving company goals.
  • Participate in required training programs and Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives.
