About The Position

A Stihl technician is a skilled professional who repairs, maintains, and sells Stihl outdoor power equipment like chainsaws and trimmers. You will diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues. We will send you for training with the Stihl Mult-level certification program. Not only will you be learning about Stihl, but also about cattle and livestock equipment and helping customers with pricing. There are times that Stihl is seasonal, and you will be cross trained for other departments. We are looking for someone that is mechanically inclined that could step into a working role. We already have an established business. This job would have benefits for a full-time employee.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Skills needed are keyboarding and ten-key by touch. Minimum words per minute on keyboard would be 30 wpm.
Use multi-line telephone, fax, copy machine, credit card machine, and personal computer/software.
