Penn State is currently seeking a Stewardship Officer to support the Office of Donor Relations and Special Events (DRSE) . As a member of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations, you can play an integral role in Penn State’s future and contribute to one of the most successful fundraising and alumni relations operations in the country. Reporting to the Director of Stewardship and working closely with central development offices , as well as other partners, this Stewardship Officer will: Provide stewardship support for central business units and the Office of Principal Gifts; Work collaboratively with offices across the Division and the University to coordinate acknowledgements for gifts to central allocations ; Coordinate DRSE’s monthly memo , including content compilation and proofing; Manage selection and purchasing of high-level donor gifts ; Provide support to DRSE’s Events Team, including creating and maintaining event registration website s , maintaining event response list s and report s , and inventorying and organizing supplies ; Provide temporary stewardship support to units as needed; Provide general support to central offices who are key stakeholders in donor stewardship (e.g. , Student Aid, Student Financial Services, Bursar, and Registrar ) ; Troubleshoot inbound questions through shared inbox and help des k; Articulate Penn State’s needs, ambitions, and values through excellent informal and formal communications . This position typically requires a b achelor’s d egree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Penn State Development software systems ( eSteward , AWA Advance) is preferred.
