What you will do: The Stewardship Analyst will lead sustainability-related data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting to advance TCCA’s sustainability objectives. This role focuses on improving the accuracy, accessibility, and influence of impact data to drive informed decisions across TCCA’s operations and supply chain. The analyst will also contribute to TCCA’s stewardship supplier engagement program and environmental impact projects. Here’s a day in the life: Leads resource use data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting, including greenhouse gas emissions footprint, energy, water, and waste across operations and supply chain. Provides stewardship-related data and content to internal and external audiences including customer sustainability surveys, Stewardship Report, social media postings, consumer questions, quarterly performance meetings, and staff education events and newsletters. Works with IT to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and quality assurance. Monitors emerging sustainability trends, standards, and reporting-related regulations to inform strategy and reporting practices (GHG Protocol, FLAG guidance, Net Zero Standard, California SB-253). Conducts market research and benchmark on sustainability initiatives to support strategy development. Works collaboratively to drive impact through TCCA’s stewardship supplier engagement program, including supplier traceability, sustainable packaging, ingredients, and other topics. Contribute to selection, design and managing relationships with third-party software providers and third-party assurance auditors. Work collaboratively to update and maintain environmental-related policies used for internal program management, customer reporting, and certifications. Support cross-functional teams to identify and implement environmental impact reduction initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, sustainable business, data science, and/or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting (CDP, Project Gigaton, EcoVadis) and corporate greenhouse gas foot printing required.
  • Foundational understanding of corporate sustainability, certifications, climate strategies, and sustainable sourcing.
  • Strong data management, quality assurance, analysis, and visualization skills, with familiarity of tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, GHG platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to distill complex information and ideas to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven. Manages projects independently to meet deadlines, stays organized, and follows through on commitments.
  • Thrives in collaborative work environment, seeking diversity of thought, culture and serving internal stakeholders with respect as one team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with product carbon footprints, lifecycle analysis, and food manufacturing/agriculture preferred.
