With about 120,000 square feet of meeting space and 3 Food & Beverage outlets, this property is located in the heart of Washington, DC and is the home to amazing events and guests. The ideal candidate will have a very good understanding of the stewarding operations, will have a min of 1-2 years of runner/supervisor experience in the stewarding department and ideally, in properties with over 600 rooms, knows how to read and action BEOs and is a great communicator! Shift Pattern: Fluctuating schedules over AM and PM shifts, with schedules starting as early as 6AM and ending as late as midnight, weekdays, weekends and Holidays availability required. What will I be doing? As a Steward Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Good understanding of the Banquet functions and Menu sheets and being able to transfer the information to the stewarding team.
