Requirements

• Must possess 2+ years of relevant experience within the hotel or casino industry.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
• Will have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Be a hardworking team player who is willing to be hands-on while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Prior management or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operational functions within the department to align with the strategic plan, fiscal budget, and the company’s profitability objectives.
• Oversee assigned staff, including hiring recommendations that reflect the company’s diversity commitment, training, coaching, performance feedback, administering discipline, and scheduling.
• Provide recommendations for new products, services, technology, and processes to enhance operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of all equipment and kitchen areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with sanitary procedures, as well as ensure that all equipment is in proper working order.
• Assist in inventory management and record-keeping for dinnerware, flatware, and glassware, and handle the ordering of china, glass, and silver.
• Also, monitor temperature and chemical solution requirements for dishwashing and pot washing while requisitioning new and replacement equipment as needed.
