About The Position

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for an Overnight Stewarding Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Overnight Stewarding Supervisors have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

Requirements

• Legal work authorization in the United States.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean dishwashing machine, sinks, floor cleaning equipment, and silver burnishing machine.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewards to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
• Ensure the proper use, cleanliness, and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment used by the Stewarding department.
• Maintain the neatness, cleanliness, and order of all kitchens, back of the house areas, storage areas, employee dining room, Stewarding Department machinery, trash compactor room, carts, and tables through constant monitoring and a vigorous cleaning schedule.
• Maintain controls against equipment abuse and operating supplies waste.
• Evaluate Stewards' efficiency and devise means of guarding against wastage and/or equipment abuse.
• Manage the stewarding functions in all kitchen areas to promote overall cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with state and local food safety and food establishment health regulations.
• Safely utilize and store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials including soaking solution utilizing the correct protective clothing and Personal Protective Equipment.
• Assist with Kitchen, Special Events, and Buffet set up for success on all Food and Beverage functions.
