About The Position

The Stewarding Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the stewarding department, ensuring cleanliness and organization of food and beverage areas. This role involves supervising and training the stewarding team, maintaining inventory of supplies, and coordinating with other departments for smooth operations. The Stewarding Manager will also develop and implement policies and procedures for cleaning and maintenance, manage budgets and resources, and conduct staff training for safety and quality standards. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities such as storage and bringing plates to the banquet kitchen for plated events, assisting in plating and dishing out food for banquet events, and ensuring all working areas are cleaned and up to health inspection standards. The role requires sweeping and mopping the kitchens, including the walk-ins and common spaces, organizing all tools including pots, pans, and utensils, and being responsible for putting away all plates to the correct locations.
