The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitation of all food + beverage areas in the hotel, including the kitchen, restaurant, and bars. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a team.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the City of Fort Worth and other parts of the DFW metropolitan area
  • Ability to communicated effectively and graciously
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities; passion for collaboration

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Embody the shared values of Hotel Drover.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the stewarding staff shift tasks.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage areas are kept clean and sanitary at all times, in accordance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Inspect all kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure that they are clean and in good working order.
  • Work with the Executive Steward to develop and implement new cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Work closely with the Culinary, Banquet and F&B Outlets Management to ensure they are set up for success
  • Ensure frequent check in’s throughout the shift with the MOD for the aforementioned areas to offer support and supplies for business levels
  • Train new employees in proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Resolve any client or customer opportunities or concerns regarding cleanliness.
  • Other duties as assigned
