The Kitchen Stewarding Lead is responsible for the smooth operation of the entire Kitchen cleaning function and team for our prestigious Casino Property in Mashantucket, CT. Ensures the needs of the client, client's customers, and employees are being met. Responsible for ensuring that our customer's kitchens are kept clean up to the highest standards. Must have high volume multiple kitchen experience in dishwashing & kitchen cleaning.

Requirements

• Must meet company and clients appearance standards
• Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation
• Ability to motivate and respect hourly employees
• Knowledge of e-mail, MS-Word
• High School or GED
• One-year prior stewarding or kitchen cleaning supervisory experience of over 20+ employees

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities in the Kitchen Cleaning Department, including dishwashing
• Daily supervision of the staff
• Purchase, re-order and maintain kitchen cleaning supplies
• Schedule and train new stewarding and Kitchen Cleaning team members
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct
• Publicly recognizes and rewards employees
• Follows and teaches all required safety and standard operating procedures
• Adheres to all company and regulatory policies. Reports any wrongdoing to corporate headquarters in Miramar, Florida
• Works weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and long hours
• Acts as a role model to other The Service Companies employees
