About The Position

The Steward at Levi's Stadium is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Key duties include sweeping and mopping floors to meet safety and sanitation standards, operating large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers. The role also involves washing various surfaces like worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as all other food preparation surfaces. Stewards are tasked with segregating and removing trash and garbage, steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans, and washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation equipment. Additionally, the position requires transferring supplies and equipment while observing safe lifting standards, assisting with banquet table and front-of-house setup, and aiding in the loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products. Compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
• Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
