About The Position

The purpose of the Steward position is to prepare the Dining Room for operations and service, including but not limited to executing the set-up of dining spaces, and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and appropriate equipment. Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate with other Team Members and Managers/Supervisors effectively
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of math
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to be on feet for an extended period
  • Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely

Responsibilities

  • Prepares the dining room for operations and service
  • Executes the set-up of dining spaces and maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant and equipment
  • Vacuums dining spaces to ensure continued cleanliness
  • Irons table cloths
  • Sets table according to prescribes standards
  • Crumbs chairs
  • Maintains cleanliness of common spaces
  • Performs routine deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by management
  • Moves table and chairs to achieve necessary table configurations
  • Maintains “the look” of the space
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
