Located inside the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square, our restaurants and event spaces offer unforgettable dining and event experiences in one of the most beautiful venues in Utah. From upscale dining at The Roof Restaurant overlooking the Salt Lake Valley to elegant banquets and celebrations, our team delivers exceptional hospitality, outstanding food, and memorable guest experiences. We’re looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting a team known for excellence. Requirements
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Consistent reliability and punctuality
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, as well as abide by all company policies
- Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by management
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish room, kitchen, and service areas
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and equipment
- Assist with trash removal and maintaining overall cleanliness of back-of-house areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork and high standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
