The position is responsible for dishwashing and other general housekeeping tasks within the Culinary Department of Intermountain Health Park City Hospital. The role involves maintaining a sanitary, safe, and clean environment that meets hospital, Health Department, and Joint Commission standards. The work schedule includes dishwashing, food preparation, and other duties as assigned, requiring full-time availability from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 8:30 am. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered after 90 days, along with a location differential of 5%-15% for hours worked in the evenings and weekends.

  • Cleans and sanitizes dishes.
  • Collects carts with patient trays from hospital floors.
  • Cleans and disinfects assigned areas including dining areas using department cleaning procedures.
  • Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
  • Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash.
  • Operates and maintains assigned equipment (e.g., commercial dishwasher) according to established procedures.
  • Food Handler Permit (as required by State) or ServSafe certification is required by the first day of work.
  • Demonstrates ability to read color-coded labels and chemicals as well as following written and verbal directions.
