About The Position

The position is focused on providing assistance and maintenance in all functions necessary in the Banquet Department at the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino. The role emphasizes excellent customer service for all internal and external customers, establishing effective working relationships, and developing solutions for customer concerns. The job requires flexibility and adaptability to work in a high-volume kitchen environment, performing a wide range of duties as needed or requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge and skills are qualifying.
• Must have a valid food handlers card.
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Casino operations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
• Develop solutions for customer concerns with a focus on customer service as a top priority.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work in a high-volume environment.
• Wash soiled dishes, silverware, glasses, pots, and pans.
• Clean filters, troughs, and drip machines daily.
• Assist in all phases of service in the kitchen as directed.
• Clean and organize the walk-in cooler and freezer.
• Maintain and wear uniform correctly and maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• Clean cookware, dishware, glassware, and flatware, and maintain dish machines according to company standards.
• Clean and sanitize all food storage areas.
• Maintain floors throughout the shift.
• Collect and dispose of trash from outlets.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen floor area.
• Respond to requests for cleaning and/or basic maintenance throughout the kitchen area.
• Properly and safely utilize assigned equipment.
• Adhere to all QBRC Personnel Policies and Procedures, Title 97 Policy, and HR Standard Operating Procedures.
