Steward Supervisor
About The Position
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY Direct, train, and develop all Kitchen Utility staff. Distribute workload to maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, china, silver, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas. Ensure proper training on chemical use and sanitary handling of all food and beverage equipment and utensils. Assign duties as directed by the Executive Steward. Monitor, observe, and assist in evaluating team member performance. Supervise cleaning of work areas and surrounding physical spaces. Ensure team members follow all safety and security policies to prevent accidents and control costs. Enforce proper cleaning routines for service ware, equipment, floors, and dish room machinery. Ensure all food holding and transport equipment is in proper working order. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and sanitation standards. Perform other reasonable duties as required by management. Maintain the highest level of integrity and uphold standards required by a regulated business. Work flexible schedules, including holidays and weekends, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
