The team is seeking a talented Stewarding Supervisor to join our exceptional team! Check us out: The Diplomat Beach Resort We are seeking an energetic individual who is career driven, with a positive approach to hospitality. In this role, you will report directly to the Stewarding Manager and oversee a team consisting of more than 55 union stewards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of stewarding management experience within a hotel environment, preferably of comparable size. Experience leading a unionized stewarding team is strongly preferred. Responsibilities

Supervise, support and monitor utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware for restaurant service
Supervise cleaning of work area and physical surroundings
Maintain and deliver proper inventory for food and beverage departments
Ensure all food and equipment are delivered on time to all functions as specified
Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members
Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
