The Lead Steward will report to the Executive Chef. This position is responsible for overseeing all stewarding staff and ensuring the cleaning and storage of all wares at BMO Stadium, including all major culinary equipment. The Lead Steward will execute stewarding and dish duties, inspect kitchens, workrooms, and equipment for cleanliness and general order, and ensure the safety and security of employees and guests. The role requires urgency, timeliness, and attention to detail in work habits, as well as maintaining strict confidentiality regarding food and beverage operations. Knowledge of chemical usage, operating a dishwasher, and proper usage of a trash compactor is essential. The Lead Steward must be willing to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations in an interruptive environment.
