The Steward I is responsible for the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment and tools. They are also responsible for washing dishes, kitchen vessels, cleaning floors and equipment etc. What you will be doing: Provide the front of house staff with all their service equipment needs. Ensure that all equipment provided to the front of house staff are clean and in compliance with quality standards Support the culinary staff by maintaining their lines with the required dishware for each meal period To support the banquet staff with all their equipment and culinary needs before and during each banquet event. Clean and maintain all equipment managed by the Stewarding department by ensuring the safe usage Transportation of all banquet food requirements to the location of event. Report to Steward Supervisor when any equipment/machinery is damaged, faulty or misused Keep work area clean, tidy and dry at all times
