About The Position

This position is specifically for the Parx Casino Hotel.
Description

Gathers and removes trash from kitchen and restaurant areas (including closets, walk-ins, storage areas, hallways, etc.) as assigned.
Fills dishwashers as required to ensure that outlets have a good supply of clean dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and other supplies.
Polishes silver and glassware as directed.
Cleans, sweeps and/or mops floors in kitchen and restaurant areas (including closets, walk-ins, storage areas, hallways, etc.), and cleans and repositions safety mats correctly as directed.
Clean kitchen or restaurant equipment as assigned. Clean dry storage and walls as necessary.
Stocks carts with items like ice, paper products, food products, glassware and silverware.
Transports stocked carts to assigned outlets.
All deliveries stored correctly and secured.
Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must be polite, courteous, and willing to pitch in and help others as directed.
• Must be capable of walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting many different tools and pieces of equipment of varying weights during a full 8 hour shift.
• Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
• Must be able to comprehend spoken English.
