About The Position

The Steward position at Harrah's Gulf Coast involves cleaning and sanitizing all dishes and silverware to be used by guests of the casino, as well as cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment. Requirements

• Six months previous kitchen worker experience is required.
• Must be able to understand and speak English.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock supplies, such as plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils.
• Lift bus tubs to bus carts and push carts to the kitchen.
• Clean food serving areas, including counters, utensils, and food trays.
• Maintain proper sanitation levels in accordance with health department and Stewarding standards.
• Clean and sanitize all china and flatware.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
• Stock supplies including plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
