About The Position

As a Steward/Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties to include cleaning and mopping floors and trash removal.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent, preferred
At least one (1) year of prior work experience, required
Maricopa Food Handler’s Card

Nice To Haves

Previous dishwasher experience, preferred
Hospitality experience, preferred
ServSafe Certification, preferred

Responsibilities

Gather pots and pans to wash in a three (3) compartment sink or a pot machine; breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware as they arrive in the dish area, then return items to the appropriate storage location
Maintain chemical detergents in all applicable equipment such as dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers.
Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweep and mop all floors, wash all floor mats; clean kitchen equipment to include but not limited to dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, etc.
Separate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage, including potential biohazard cleanup.
Maintain inventories of linen and remove soiled linen.
Comply with regulatory departments and with departmental and property policies and procedures, to include Health Department, OSHA, Fire Department, etc.
Complete mandatory health and safety training as required by the company or regulatory entities.
Perform other job-related duties as required by management.
