About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time STEWARD ASSOCIATE position at BD Medical located at 9450 South State Street, Sandy, UT 84070. The schedule is full time, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details will be provided during the interview. Previous sanitation and food safety experience is required. An internal employee referral bonus is available. The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous sanitation and food safety experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
