About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to support clinical operations by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and treatment areas are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained in accordance with strict infection control standards.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in dental or medical sterilization
- Dental Assistant Certification
Responsibilities
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment following established infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms with properly sterilized tools and materials
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor and document sterilization cycles, maintaining accurate records
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the sterilization area
- Dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety regulations
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to an efficient, positive work environment
