Key Responsibilities: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners. Prepare and package instruments for sterilization and proper storage. Maintain and monitor sterilization logs and equipment maintenance records. Set up and break down treatment rooms between patients. Ensure proper disposal of biohazard and sharps waste following safety guidelines. Restock dental supplies and maintain organized inventory of sterile instruments. Assist dental assistants and dentists with maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. Follow guidelines from organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for infection control. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures preferred. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
