Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures in a clinical environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with sterilization equipment and procedures.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures in a clinical environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stocking treatment rooms with necessary supplies and materials
• Cleaning operatories and ensuring a sterile environment for patient procedures
• Properly cleaning and sterilizing surgery instruments
• Wrapping and storing instruments in accordance with sterilization protocols
• Performing clinical noting and documentation as required
• Maintaining and operating autoclaves and other sterilization equipment
• Assisting with patient consenting procedures prior to surgery
• Supporting the dental team with additional clinical tasks as needed
• Other tasks requested
