MHM Services, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to the California Department of State Hospitals. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Supply Technician to join our team at the Napa State Hospital located in Napa, California. $23.00 per hour + medical, dental and vision Must have Sterilization Processing Technician Certificate + 1 year experience Monday through Friday - Day Shift (6:30-7am to 3-3:30-pm) The Medical Supply Technician works under the general supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse to sterilize, process, and distribute medical equipment and supplies for a state institution as well as maintain acceptable standards of cleanliness and asepsis. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must have Sterilization Processing Certificate
- Ability to read and write English at a level required for a successful job performance
- Ability to clean and care for medical and surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Ability to learn decontamination and sterilization and proper aseptic techniques, stock rotation, and the organization of medical supply department
- Ability to operate automatic sterilization equipment
- Ability to recognize surgical/medical equipment necessary to fill requisitions
- Ability to take instructions and follow established procedures
- 1 year experience
