About The Position

QTS offers critical end-of-line services for medical device OEMs including finished device assembly, packaging and sterilization management. QTS is part of the Cretex Medical family of companies. This position will provide technical support focusing on Sterilization, Quality and Engineering projects. You will be assisting the Sterilization department with projects from scope definition through implementation. This position will be located on-site in Bloomington, MN, 40 hours a week for the summer 2026.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a 2-year degree in a technical field, with an emphasis in Biology or Microbiology or related experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a preference for those skilled in advanced functions (e.g., Visual Basic, ability to set up automations, etc.).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Technical writing skills.
• Strong math skills, including knowledge of statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the sterilization and cleaning processing.
• Learn about and help support the environmental monitoring program.
• Learn about sterilization and cleaning experiments.
• Learn more about cleaning and validation processes and procedures.
• Learn more about and support different sterilization methods.
• Support projects within Sterilization and help with various sterilization and cleaning projects.
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
