About The Position

The Sterile Room Material Transfer Technician at Nephron Pharmaceuticals is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of sterile environments, ensuring compliance with cGMP and OSHA regulations. This entry-level position involves the sanitization of cleanrooms and material transfer areas, as well as the documentation of material transfers using electronic systems. The technician plays a crucial role in supporting the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products by adhering to strict aseptic techniques and good documentation practices.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing/production work experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to perform strenuous repetitive tasks and maintain stamina for 12-hour shifts.
• Full range of motion in fingers, wrists, elbows, and shoulders.

Nice To Haves

• Gowning Certification preferred.
• Previous sanitizing experience in a sterile environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitization of cleanrooms, clean unclassified areas, and changing rooms.
• Move materials from clean unclassified areas through ISO 8 environment into ISO 7 environment while maintaining aseptic techniques.
• Document material transfers using the Electronic Clean Room Logbook.
• Conduct station checks for hairnets, beard nets, tacky mats, and shoe covers.
• Re-stock clean room supplies daily and organize gown rooms and wash rooms.
• Clean ISO 8 clean unclassified dedicated areas.
• Sanitize materials in different Material Transfer Rooms successfully.
• Communicate quality-related observations and discrepancies to the manager.
• Review SOPs and recommend updates for GMP documents.
