Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician or 2 to 3 years of experience
- BLS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)
Responsibilities
- Performs sterilization and maintains sterilization records within the OR to ensure standards are met
- Completes and performs QA checks of case carts according to preference lists
- Communicates pertinent case cart system information to management, staff, physicians, and suppliers
