About The Position

This position is responsible for oversight of inventory controls for surgical and interventional supplies and materials. Works with Supply Chain adjust and implement supply par and bin location changes for new and existing supplies. Coordinates materials activities to meet the ongoing needs of clinicians in a procedural/interventional area. Facilitates cost containment efforts, product standardization, inventory control practices, space utilization, and data management. Facilitates charge capture related to implant management and tissue tracking. Coordinates all supply add, change, and delete requests. Trains staff in material management and inventory control activities, and requisitioning procedures. Works in conjunction with OR supply and implant coordinator and leads to maintain daily departmental operations. Requirements

  • Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree Business Administration Or Bachelor's Degree Business Administration
  • Coursework/Training Successful completion of an education training course for Supply Chain Management or another course of similar subject content
