About The Position
This is a Full Time Sterile Processing Technician position at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, working 8-hour day shifts. Requirements
- Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
- Or Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- Sterile processing experience

Responsibilities
- Processes surgical instrumentation and supplies throughout the sterilization process using the appropriate personal protective equipment according to procedure
- Maintains instruments in a clean, working condition, and stores according to instrument directory
- Performs and interprets data from daily sterilizer biological monitoring, instrument sterilization and all associated documentation
- Assist in training and orientation of new staff
- Is proficient in required competencies
